The Infrastructure and Cloud consultant supports our customers in their digital transformation and helps them guarantee the security of their systems.
As a multi-task specialist, mastering many IT tools, including IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) resources, he/she is in charge of the deployment of solutions, storage, data management and migration.
The Infrastructure and Cloud consultant is in charge of the deployment, storage and management of data on servers located outside the company, in data centers. He/she is a specialist in algorithms, programming and software and network architecture.
It is the responsibility of the Infrastructure and Cloud consultant to propose an infrastructure architecture that perfectly meets the specific needs of each WorkinWith customer.
These needs are the definition of the software, the platform(s) and also the infrastructure.
Even before the implementation of the new data storage solutions and the new infrastructure, the consultant must ensure the security of the accesses as well as their reliability.
To do this, he/she carries out a large number of technical and functional tests. His/her main tasks include
- Monitoring the implementation of all new systems that are integrated into the company
- Accompany the company’s users in the appropriation of the new systems
- Ensure the training that is necessary for users
- Take care of the customer / supplier follow-up
- Take care of the maintenance of the new system
- Analyze the data storage system of his company and the needs of dematerialization of data. He then recommends technical solutions
- Ensure that the customer’s needs are well defined in order to set up operational solutions and precise tools
- Monitor the deployment and proper functioning of the virtualization
- Ensure the deployment or migration of data in the cloud
- Perform technical and functional tests to detect potential malfunctions
- Implement security systems and data access management systems
- Monitor the production launch
- Ensure that no loopholes appear in the storage and security of data
- Validate the technical aspects of storage
- Ensure the administration and maintenance of the system
- Propose new versions according to the continuous technological evolutions
- Optimize the performance of the operating system
- Ensure internal communication through the development of training documents and conduct internal training
- Write technical documentation on data virtualization
