D365 Finance Consultant
The Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant works directly with WorkinWith customers on D365 ERP projects. He/she provides expertise, advice and support throughout the various phases of the project. He gathers WorkinWith customers‘ needs, analyzes them and designs and/or implements the technologies that best match the customer’s strategies and operational objectives.
He masters the Microsoft D365 F&O Finance ERP, the Data Management Framework for data import, tax rules, Finance parameterization and the Banking, Fixed Assets and Budget modules. He also knows how to parameterize legal entities and business units.
The D365 Finance Consultant is able to organize and give training to end-users during the various phases of the project, so that they become familiar with the different Dynamics functions.
This may involve national or international travel, depending on the customer’s needs.
In the course of their duties, they train and may be required to supervise the careers of less experienced profiles in their field of expertise.
The D365 Finance Consultant reports to the Head of the F&O Finance Department in France.
Main responsibilities
- Mastery of D365 Finance functions.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft D365 application and assessment of the customer’s business processes in relation to Microsoft Dynamics functionalities.
- Document the customer’s business requirements, detailing the actions required of the solution and the expected results.
- Collaborate, where necessary, with business stakeholders to ensure requirements, align with business objectives and fully understand the customer’s current and future processes.
- Collaborate and manage meetings with functional/technical consultants and customers/end-users.
- Adapt the Microsoft D365 application to meet the customer’s business needs.
- Facilitate the customer’s decision process and develop the functional design document that will drive project development (if there is a need to modify or customize processes or the Microsoft Dynamics application).
- Lead user tests and train users in handling and maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics application.
- Develop production materials as required.
- Organize training sessions during the various phases of the project to familiarize end-users with the various Dynamics functions in the field of finance.
- Supervise the work and tasks carried out on projects by more junior profiles in your area of expertise.rea.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 years‘ experience as a Microsoft D365 expert with a specialization in Finance.
- 2 years minimum experience in configuring, implementing, integrating and testing D365 solutions using best practice implementation methods and/or Agile methodology.
Education
Studies at a university of applied sciences or polytechnics.
